Guinness World Record Ute Parade attempt

On October 2, 1999, Deniliquin wrote itself in to history claiming the Guinness World Records title for the largest parade of legally registered utes in the world with 2,839 utes taking part.

Since then the Festival has reached new heights with over 7,000 utes counted at the Festival in 2008.

Unfortunately Festival organisers had to postphone the anticipated Guinness World Record attempt to officially break their 1999 record of the largest parade of utes due to wet weather and safety risk.

Good news is that the organisers will attempt this record at the 2010 Festival. Stay tuned as more information will come to hand during the year.

Let's aim for 10,000 utes!

Each participant will receive a certificate of participation.

Guinness World Record Blue Singlet Count

Our belief is that behind the wheel of every good looking ute - is a good looking Aussie wearing a blue singlet!

Since 2004, the Deni Ute Muster has staged a World Record Blue Singlet Count in the RM Williams Bull Ride arena.

Festival organizers felt it was time to make the count an official Guinness World Record attempt being the largest gathering of people wearing shearers blue singlets.

It is official! 2,230 people! This is a new GUINNESS WORLD RECORD!

Thanks to everyone who participated in this historical moment. Considering the cold, wet weather we thank everyone who was involved in this new record.

"The great thing about this attempt is that people of all ages took part in it wearing an iconic Australian piece of clothing".

Let's smash that record in 2010!
