Come and watch the teams battle it out to be crowned Milwaukee Tradies of the Year.
Due to the success of last year’s Tradie Challenge, Milwaukee is back on board at the 2016 Deni Ute Muster.
This year the Milwaukee Tradie Challenge is to build the ultimate ‘Tradie Tavern’ which will involve four teams battling it out to be crowned the ‘Milwaukee Tradies of the Year’. The Tradie Teams must consist of four individuals and must ensure that at least one team member is a competent, skilled individual/tradie that will oversee their team.
The Tradie Challenge will begin at 9am Friday 30th September and includes a break for lunch at 12.00pm for one hour with the conclusion of the Challenge at 3pm Friday afternoon. This allows each team a total of 6 hours to complete the list of required elements. There will be a toolbox meeting and induction at 8am which all teams must attend.
Whilst the bar won’t be operational during the Milwaukee Tradie Challenge they do need to be built to be usable, therefore the bars must meet safety standards which will be checked by the Safety Officer on duty so they can be used on the Saturday. All materials and tools needed will be supplied by the Deni Ute Muster and Milwaukee.
To add further interest to the Challenge, teams will be invited to bring along two items of their choice to include in their design. One of these items must be bar signage and the other can be anything associated with your bar design.
The winning team will win a cash prize of $4,000 along with a trophy declaring them ‘Milwaukee Tradies of the Year.’ Runner-up teams will walk away with a Milwaukee prize pack. Judging will be based on design and workmanship.
